We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused part time Shop Assistant to join our team at our Mullingar store. The position will be a minimum of 20 hours per week which may include occasional Sunday work.
Shop opening hours are Monday - Saturday 09:00-18:00 & Sunday 12:00 - 16:00.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
* Help customers with recycling and purchasing items in the store.
* Maintain the shop’s cleanliness and organization.
* Stock shelves, manage inventory, and assist with product displays.
* Process sales transactions efficiently using the point of sale (POS) system.
* Provide excellent customer service and answer any queries related to products and services.
* Work as part of a team to achieve store targets and uphold company standards.
Requirements:
* Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not essential.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Friendly, approachable, and reliable.
* Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
* A passion for sustainability and recycling is desirable.
* Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends.
