Job Description:
CPL Healthcare is pleased to announce a partnership with a Social Care provider for young people and adults with disabilities and complex needs in a residential setting. Our partner organisation provides residential support to service users, using a strength's-based approach to ensure each individual has the opportunity to live their best life.
We are currently accepting applications for a Social Care Manager position based at our client's centre in Oldcastle, Meath.
This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality care and working for an employer that values its staff and prioritises the needs of service users in all aspects of daily activities.
The successful candidate will be based on-site at the centre, working full-time Monday to Friday (09:00am-05:00pm) with additional on-call support required.
Qualifications and Experience:
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess the following qualifications and experience:
* A Level 7 qualification in Social Care or Applied Social Studies (or Social Work), and
* A management qualification suitable for a health/social care setting, which can be either held or enrolled in,
* Four years of post-qualification full-time work experience in a social care setting.
Alternatively, applicants may hold:
* A Level 8 qualification in Social Care or Applied Social Studies;
* Four years of post-qualification full-time work experience in a social care setting.
Applicants without a Level 7 qualification in Social Care may still be considered if they have:
* A related field Level 7 qualification (e.g., Psychology, Counselling/Psychotherapy, etc.) with the intention of completing a Level 7 in Social Care;
* A management qualification suitable for a health/social care setting;
* Four years of post-qualification full-time work experience in a social care setting;
* Experience as a manager in an ACIMS registered centre for at least two out of the past three years.
Additionally, applicants who are entered onto the CORU register of Social Care Workers and have four years of full-time work experience in a social care setting may also be considered.
