Job Title: Practice Accountant
Location: Kilkenny, Ireland
Salary: Up to €85,000 basic per annum
We are seeking an experienced Practice Accountant to join our growing finance team. The successful candidate will report to the Finance Partner and oversee the end-to-end accounts preparation of a portfolio of clients.
About the Role:
Main Responsibilities:
* Preparing statutory accounts for a portfolio of clients
* Conducting client audits and preparing tax returns (corporate and personnel)
* Mentoring/training junior staff
* Ad-hoc duties as required
Key Skills:
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
* A recognized accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA or CIMA)
* At least 3-5 years' post-qualified experience working in a practice environment
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word & Excel) and experience with Surf, Sage, and QuickBooks
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage a small team
