Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Engagement & Internal Communications Specialist to join our Big Box multinational retail client's Human Resources team, reporting into the Chief People Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a compelling Engagement & Internal Communications strategy that resonates with our 1,600 colleagues across 36 locations.
* Plan, create, and deliver weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc communications that are clear, engaging, and aligned with business goals.
* Build and manage an Internal Communications & Colleague Engagement roadmap to support business objectives and enhance the employee experience.
* Lead and support event planning for company-wide conferences, gatherings, and engagement initiatives.
* Champion initiatives that contribute to a strong workplace culture and Great Place to Work recognition.
* Work closely with leadership and key stakeholders to ensure alignment in messaging and engagement strategies.
* Assist in HR projects and initiatives that drive a positive and inclusive work environment.
Ideal Candidate:
* Has 2+ years of experience in a similar role within a medium to large business, ideally in a multi-site or retail environment.
* Is a strategic thinker with strong planning and prioritisation skills.
* Thrives in a collaborative team environment and has exceptional influencing skills.
* Is proficient with current Internal Communications tools and technologies.
* Is confident in presenting to key stakeholders, including leadership teams.
* Has experience in event management and/or employee engagement initiatives.
* Can develop and implement a high-impact Engagement Strategy.
* Adapts quickly to change, learns new skills with ease, and brings a proactive and flexible 'can-do' attitude.
