In a key role for the business, this person will be responsible for the Materials Planning & Production Scheduling cover for the business.
Working within a small team & reporting directly into the Supply Planning & MRP manager, the successful individual will be primarily responsible for Raw Material supply accuracy for production volumes while also striving for improvement in supporting the capture and delivery of demand needs for warehouse, logistic resourcing & customer satisfaction.
Production scheduling cover and balancing of material requirements will also be key aspects of this role. Utilising the existing IFS systems & excel based planning tools, this role will support, and influence Company Projects & requires demonstrated experience in the delivery of project & company targets.
The role will have cross functional interaction with other areas, spanning Operations, Commercial, Marketing, Finance, HR, Group Procurement and Supply Chain, to support strategies on both short- and long-term customer delivery & supply of raw materials.
Overall, the role will involve experience of network optimization, capacity planning, integration of demand with manufacturing supply, inventory planning, production scheduling, project delivery in supporting Supply Chain and maximising the Customer Service levels across the wider business.

Primary Responsibilities will be,

Proposing and implementing solutions to improve material and production forecast accuracy and working closely with the Demand team.
Coordinating the inventory targets & interacting with warehouse teams to monitor and maintain optimal stock levels.
Maintaining forecast accuracy of raw material products working closely with External suppliers & the Demand / Commercial team.
Custodian of raw material forecasts for the site & interaction with Group Procurement in this regard.
Support network optimization processes to mitigate costs and maximize service to customers.
