The ideal candidate for this position will provide project management for planning and organizing all aspects of the tasks related to the relevant projects. As part of this role, the manager will oversee the works of his peers, acting as the point of contact to handle any issues regarding the project.
Requirements:
1. Main contractor background
2. At least 5 years experience working as a Construction Manager/Superintendent
3. Experience coordinating medium-level construction projects
4. Experience working on Pharmaceutical/mission-critical projects is highly desirable.
5. Ambitious and an excellent communicator
Duties will include:
1. Achieve production targets and carry out programming and monitoring to ensure that deadlines are met.
2. Issue subcontractors with regular short-term programmes to ensure planned progress is achieved.
3. Co-ordinate the activities of all the trades and disciplines involved on-site so that all operations are performed efficiently and in accordance with the construction programme.
4. Ensure full compliance with all Health & Safety aspects.
5. Chair site meetings.
