Join Our Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering Apprenticeship
PAM Ireland is currently recruiting candidates to participate in their 4-year Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering Apprenticeship program, commencing in September 2025. The program is a collaborative effort with the College of Further Education and Training Campus and Technology University Dublin (TUD)/ South East Technological University (SETU) Carlow.
About the Program
This structured 4-year apprenticeship includes a combination of hands-on learning and classroom instruction at the College of FET and TUD/ SETU. Participants will be required to dedicate themselves to intense B1/B2 module studies for 4 years, culminating in the achievement of a B1 or B2 EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence. Upon successful completion, they will be eligible to certify Ryanair's 600+ aircraft fleet.
Work Experience
Candidates will work alongside experienced aircraft engineers in one of our largest engineering hangars based in Shannon, providing maintenance services for our extensive Boeing aircraft fleet. They will also gain valuable experience in airframe and avionics as well as pre-into service checks on new aircraft deliveries from Boeing. As the company continues to expand its fleet to over 800+ aircraft within the next decade, this presents an exceptional opportunity for successful candidates to work in an exciting industry and acquire a recognized qualification in aircraft maintenance.
Training Schedule
During the initial training phase, participants will spend time in Shannon, Stansted, or Bergamo for classroom-based learning and hands-on experience while pursuing their studies at TU Dublin/ SETU Carlow.
