Job Description
As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will play a key role in our project development and implementation process. You will conduct technical assessments, prepare reports, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure project milestones are achieved while working closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and industry experts.
Responsibilities
* Report to the Project Manager on project progress, risks, and issues.
* Liaise with suppliers/specialist contractors to ensure equipment is successfully commissioned.
* Develop and review mechanical designs with the project team.
* Conduct design reviews, validate equipment and systems.
* Complete technical submittals, equipment registers, and trackers.
* Review quality on site walking down systems to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Requirements
A Mechanical Engineering/Building Services degree is essential. A minimum of 5 years' experience in building services is preferred. Excellent IT skills are required, and experience with Revit would be advantageous. Strong organisational and planning skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team are also essential.
