Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Contracts Manager to join our team due to significant growth in the commercial market.
Main Responsibilities:
* Attend weekly zoom meetings to report progress and staffing issues.
* Oversee site progress while monitoring output on all aspects of works underway.
* Monitor and report on wastage, develop ways of reducing waste.
* Evaluate drawings against works being carried out to ensure scope of works is maintained.
* Communicate regularly with Team Members regarding changes/variations of works.
* Capture and agree variations on dayworks in writing with the Main Contractor.
* Meet monthly with the Surveying department to discuss operative outputs.
* Participate in health and safety meetings with Main Contractors and ensure works comply with Health and Safety procedures.
* Collaborate with Key Team leads on preconstruction planning aspects.
* Assist Surveyors, Coordinators, and Site Operatives in ensuring materials and equipment are available prior to commencing work.
* Prioritize Tool maintenance and report losses, damages, or thefts to the Construction Coordinator.
* Compile Site Specific method statements and risk assessments for approval by Main Contractors prior to commencing works.
Key Skills:
* Minimum 5 years' experience in high-value Commercial Curtain Walling.
* Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
* Strong I.T. skills.
* Produce reliable and detailed progress reports.
* Strong understanding of Building Envelope Quality Standards.
* Effective people and H&S management skills.
