Product/Process Development Technician
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Development Technician to join our team at CREGG, a leading Medical Device and Pharmaceuticals company in Shannon, Co. Clare.
Role Summary:
This role offers the chance to develop your skills while making a significant impact in the medical device industry. As a Product Development Technician, you will be instrumental in the development and improvement of our products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough product testing, including functionality, performance, and durability, to ensure that products meet quality standards and customer requirements.
* Assist in the creation and maintenance of plans, design inputs, product specifications, technical drawings, and documentation in accordance with design control procedures.
* Support manufacturing onsite and at subcontractors/suppliers to ensure that the product quality, regulatory & business requirements are met.
* Track and report progress across project activities by reviewing schedules and due dates, identifying risks and implementing contingency plans.
* Communicate effectively with all internal & external stakeholders.
* Support timely introduction on any new products or product upgrades by supporting validation activities including execution of protocols for equipment, process/test validations & process improvements.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in product development, preferably in a manufacturing environment (2 years of industry experience).
* Relevant Level 8 qualification in Science/Engineering.
* Familiarity with product testing methodologies and quality assurance processes.
* Knowledge and interpretation of FDA guidelines and ISO 13485 requirements, with working knowledge of international standards as applicable.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize workload effectively to meet project deadlines.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
* Strong technical acumen and ability to understand complex technical concepts/issues and develop practical solutions.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work meticulously to ensure accuracy in testing and documentation.

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
