About the Role:
As a Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in providing accurate and timely financial insights to support decision-making across the organisation.
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will take ownership of key financial reporting, conduct in-depth financial analysis, and develop models to support business functions.
You will also contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct monthly financial reviews, providing insights to support budget holders in effective decision-making.
Analyse costs and financial trends, identifying areas for optimisation and cost-saving initiatives.
Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary, to offer a clear overview of financial performance.
Assist the Financial Controller in preparing reports for the Board and its committees, including financial statements, cash flow analysis, key performance indicators, and subsidiary consolidation.
Play a key role in the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasts, and business modelling, ensuring financial plans align with strategic goals.
Support the preparation of funding applications and ensure compliance with all statutory reporting requirements.
Provide manpower cost analysis and collaborate with HR to ensure effective workforce planning.
Identify opportunities to enhance financial reporting processes, streamline operations, and drive cost efficiency across the organisation.
Candidate Requirements:
Qualified Accountant or Part-Qualified Accountant nearing completion, with at least two years of post-qualification experience.
Strong Excel skills are essential; experience with NetSuite is beneficial but not required.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with a team-oriented mindset.
