The Fitzgerald Group is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager with a background in construction to join our dynamic team. Job Description: As a Junior Project Manager, you will assist in overseeing and managing construction projects from inception to completion. You will support the senior project management team to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your role will involve coordinating with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers, to ensure successful project delivery. About The Role Key Responsibilities: Assist in planning, executing, and finalising construction projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. Support the coordination and supervision of construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Help prepare and manage project budgets, cost estimates, and financial reports. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise. Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met. Assist in managing project risks and developing mitigation strategies. Support the procurement of materials and equipment. Ensure effective communication and collaboration among project team members. Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and clients. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in construction management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in project management within the construction industry. Basic knowledge of quantity surveying and cost management. Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and regulations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Professional certifications such as PMP, MRICS, or similar are a plus.
