The g Hotel & Spa, a luxurious five-star property in the heart of Galway, is looking for a dedicated and friendly Night Porter to join our amazing team. Your Responsibilities Will Be:
* Handle guests incidents, complaints and coordinate service recovery where required in conjunction with the Manager.
* Conference & Banqueting set up, maintenance and cleaning.
* Identifying, communicating all issues (maintenance, equipment, etc).
* Following company control procedures in accordance with the internal audit requirements.
* Confidently know all emergency procedures, full knowledge of the fire manual.
* Working in partnership with the Night Manager to ensure all Nights Department objectives are fulfilled.
* Close daily business and secure property.
* Prepare hotel for new day. Particular attention to detail on cleanliness and presentation is vital.
* Aid all departments while on shift; knowledge of bar & restaurant would be beneficial.

Experience We Are Looking For:
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Must have previous experience in a similar role and demonstrated business / industry awareness.
* Possess a high standard of customer service delivery skills.
* Be standards driven and detail-orientated with the ability to organise and plan ahead.
* Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Should have previous experience with Micros/Opera.
