Main Location: Ballyboughal, Co. Dublin. Normal Hours: Working 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday, with shift times varying between 9am to 6pm, dependant on the needs of the business. Flexibility and additional hours may be required to meet the demands of the business. Overview of the main function of the post: To maintain and develop service levels, ensuring continuous development. Supervise the unloading and sortation of goods in and the picking, staging, packing, and loading of goods out. Maintenance of excellent housekeeping standards and ensuring compliance with all health and safety requirements. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Organise fulfilments and plan the picking and packing of orders when requested, leading the fulfilment team during these requests, ensuring fulfilment deadlines are met. Load / unload trucks, including the accurate completion of paperwork. Order picking, sortation, and quality checks. Prepare orders for dispatch. General warehouse duties. Housekeeping of warehouse and yard. Receiving of goods in, check, and put away. Scanning and recording of goods. Completion of tasks as set by Warehouse manager or approved designate. Job processing with IT systems and scanning where applicable. Stock taking and cycle counting as and when required per key accounts agreed SLA. Other Responsibilities: Shunter/Yard All trailers must be parked in a safe manner, ensuring compliance with relevant procedures. Yard management / cleaning / traffic management. Health and safety All protocols must be followed. Loading bay procedure must be followed Warehouse housekeeping to be maintained. Team leading of the shift Supervise the day-to-day activities of the team, motivating them to achieve the business objectives. Suggestions and Improvements on Efficiency Organising Team Meetings to Discuss Challenges / Issues / KPIS. Completing Incident / Accident Forms as Part of a Quality Management System. Ensuring All Staff Members Trained / Signed Off On and are adhering to SOPs. Monitor Staff Training Plan and arrange New & Refresher Training in conjunction with our onsite Trainers. Review of issues as they arise and completion of CAPA Reporting as required. Skills Requirements: A counterbalance operator's license and VNA machine is preferable. Experience in Goods Distribution Practice (GDP). Basic knowledge of computerized systems and MS Office (Excel). Excellent attention to detail. Relevant experience within a warehouse environment. Self-motivated with good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Fluent in spoken and written English. Knowledge / familiarity of delivery documentation / paperwork.
