Maintenance Technician CREGG are hiring for a Maintenance Technician to join a large medical device manufacturer in Cork.
This role is a day shift opportunity, working core hours with an early finish on Fridays.
Apply to the role if you have previous Manufacturing experience, Trade qualified or hold a relevant level 6 Qualification.
Responsibilities: Perform all duties in relation to planned maintenance, preventative maintenance, Fault finding, trouble shooting of fully automated machinery Part of a team to ensure all Machinery is constantly up and running, with any machinery issues repaired quickly and sufficiently Ensure all spare parts are available at all times Create and modify all documentation procedures on site, document and communicate all issues and work performed on shift Provide mechanical and electrical knowledge to all machine failures and problems Support compliance efforts related to Safety Events, Quality Events, change management and investigations and assist in the investigation and resolution of electrical and mechanical issues on equipment.
Identify root cause problem solving and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
Fault find, trouble shoot and diagnose all issues regarding, mechanical faults, electrical faults : sensors, pneumatics, conveyor belts, wiring, Qualifications for this role are: Minimum of a Level 6 orTrade qualified candidates.
2 years experience in manufacturing Experience with PLC's an advantage but not essential Skills: maintenance electrical mechanical PLC trouble shooting fault finding Benefits: Paid Holidays Canteen Parking Staff discount
