Senior Administrator Job Description
This highly regarded professional college is currently seeking a skilled Senior Administrator to oversee the effective management of their Examinations Department.
As a Senior Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of examinations, leveraging your administrative and IT expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide comprehensive administrative support to all college and faculty examinations
* Lead administrator at all OSCE examinations
* Process examination applications and verify examination results
* Maintain accurate records on the college's database
* Perform various administrative tasks, including answering telephone enquiries, handling mail and email, and other communications
* Maintain the website and any other social media platforms used by the department
* Document and maintain processes and procedures
* Provide invigilation duties at all college and faculty examinations
* Assist with other tasks as required
The Ideal Candidate:
* Holds a third-level degree or equivalent
* Demonstrates strong administrative experience, preferably in an academic or medical environment
* Possesses strong IT skills (MS Office, database management) and excellent numeracy skills
* Displays excellent communication and presentation skills
* Has highly developed organisational, administrative, and prioritisation skills, with the ability to work to deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
* Demonstrates a high level of confidence and interpersonal skills for dealing with senior management face-to-face and on the telephone
* Is able to form excellent working relationships at all levels and work as part of a small team
* Shows willingness to contribute to wider college activities when required
