The AWS Cloud Logistics Warehousing team is looking for a talented, driven, and highly analytical Inventory Controller with demonstrated experience driving process improvement and managing 3rd party vendors.
This individual will be responsible for leading inventory management strategies to maximize customer experience, inventory levels, and warehouse capacity utilization. Inventory Management is critical to protecting manufacturing capacity and delivering the end product to our customer at the right time.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in supply chain
- Experience working within a similar role to Inventory management/warehouse manager/Leader
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology
- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement documents
- Experience with Excel
- Experience working with 3rd Party Vendors
- Understanding transport and wider logistics can be helpful (mainly Air/Sea) but is not essential.
