Position Summary: Provide EH&S project support for projects at the Cork site. Acts as an SME and advisor to all project teams on site in relation to EHS legislation and EH&S Standards.
General Scope of Responsibilities:
* Primary role: Conduct EHS Impact Assessments (IA) as part of Management of Change process to ensure that all EHS requirements and standards are incorporated.
* Implement EH&S by Design & One CSS as required for projects.
* Participate in design reviews, HAZOPs, 3 D model reviews, JSAs, noise /IH/ergonomics / WRAPs (machine safety) assessments, FATs / SATs, and walkdowns as required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collating and reporting of relevant metrics / KPIs.
* Lead / participate in incident / accident investigations & root cause analyses (RCA).
* PTW Improvements work with other functions to drive improvements in the site PTW process.
The ideal candidate will have a strong EHS general/technical knowledge and experience in the Bio/Pharma industry or equivalent, be a strong effective communicator with all stakeholders.
They will be a strong collaborator with a proven track and a strong networker able of leveraging EHS&S expertise on and off site.

Qualifications and Experience:
* Previous experience working to ISO14001 and ISO45001 international standards, preferably within a Biopharma/pharmaceutical or related environment is required.
* A relevant third level qualification in Science, Engineering or EHS, with at least 5 years experience in the environment, health and safety area is a prerequisite for the position.
Essential Skills:
* Good overall knowledge of legal requirements and best practices in both Environment and Safety.
* Creatures dashboards, power-point presentations and can track and trend KPIs, assembling information into clearly written reports, documented findings or recommendations and communicate this progress in easily understandable manner to all stakeholders.
