M&E Commissioning Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled M&E Commissioning Manager to join our team of experienced professionals working on Data Centre projects in Europe.


Main Responsibilities:

* Ensure compliance with project specifications, commissioning plans, and procedures.
* Test installations against design and execute interface commissioning.
* Maintain documentation, compile test scripts, and record design/as-built changes from tests.
* Identify specialized test equipment and tools.
* Review/develop subcontractor procedures per contract requirements.
* Witness subcontractor/specialist commissioning and equipment tests.
* Assist with test plan preparation and review.
* Lead/support other commissioning engineers as directed by management.
* Manage construction programs impacting commissioning progress.
* Report weekly to senior management on progress, issues, and constraints.


Requirements:

* Degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or relevant trade background.
* 3+ years of experience as an Electrical/Mechanical Commissioning Manager.
* Must have worked with an M&E Contractor in Ireland or the UK.
* Good commercial awareness and client-facing individual required.
* Data Centre project experience is advantageous.
