As Senior Regulatory Compliance Lead, you'll work with cross-functional partners to track, document and understand the regulations that impact Pinterest.
You'll lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive, operational regulatory compliance framework to ensure Pinterest is complying with these new requirements and has effective controls and other risk mitigation measures over the long term.

This role will be based in Dublin and report to the Director & Assistant General Counsel, Regulatory Compliance.
What you'll do: Develop and implement an operational regulatory compliance management framework to ensure compliance with proposed and emerging global regulations.
Partner closely with the Public Policy, Legal, Compliance, Product, Engineering, Internal Audit, and Trust & Safety teams to track and document the development, interpretation, and implementation of the regulatory compliance requirements and associated risk profile for Pinterest.
Identify, track, monitor and/or test the efficacy of existing applicable controls or work cross-functionally to create new controls or other risk mitigation strategies necessary to comply with new regulations.
Contribute to DSA, OSA, and other applicable risk assessments, mitigation, and reporting processes; collaborate with internal stakeholders to advise on and track risk mitigation measures; identify opportunities to harmonize requirements and create process efficiencies.
Contribute to DSA independent audit project management and execution, including working with internal stakeholders to enhance and update controls, tracking implementation of audit recommendations, and identifying opportunities to create process efficiencies.
Prepare and deliver update presentations to executives and the board; work with Regulatory Legal to prepare for and/or participate in meetings with regulators, contribute to consultations, and respond to RFIs as necessary.
Implement a monitoring and oversight program for Pinterest's overall DSA compliance.
Support implementation of compliance with DSA codes of conduct as necessary.
What we're looking for: At least 10 years of experience in regulatory compliance or risk management; in-house legal experience or consulting experience is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business or Legal OR equivalent experience Experience with implementation and compliance with key laws and regulatory frameworks impacting social media platforms, with a particular focus on global content laws preferred.
Experience leading and multitasking on competing projects and priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships, collaborate and lead a cross-functional project, and use influence to ensure execution.
Organized and detail-oriented; loves process but knows when to be flexible.
Excellent communicator with ability to discuss risk and controls in simple language and break down complex compliance requirements into easy-to-understand concepts.
Experience conducting or supporting risk assessments, DSA audits, and/or control design, monitoring, and testing.
Proven ability to identify, prioritize and address compliance risk.
Exceptional judgment and impeccable integrity.
Proactive self-starter.
Willingness to work across jurisdictions and time zones, and travel.
Eagerness to learn with a strong desire to embrace an entrepreneurial, flexible, and collaborative working style.
