Job Description:
The Director of Sales and Marketing serves as the strategic leader driving hotel sales, responsible for achieving revenue goals and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead day-to-day sales and marketing activities, focusing on building long-term customer relationships to achieve hotel sales objectives.
* Develop, implement, and monitor the annual Sales and Marketing plan for the hotel.
* Manage a portfolio of accounts across various segments, including Corporate, MICE, Business groups, Airlines, Agent, Tour Operator, and Leisure.
* Seek out and secure new corporate and leisure business in line with the hotel's budgetary requirements.
Performance Metrics:
* Deliver budgeted room sales in key segments, including corporate, MICE, conferences, and tour series.
* Maximise revenue opportunities from existing accounts through strategic planning and effective account management.
* Assist with delivering budgeted Food and Beverage sales, focusing on the restaurant and bar.
Leadership and Team Management:
* Lead the team to identify and develop new business from new accounts.
* Monitor and lead M&E Pipeline analysis, identifying gaps vs. budget, and taking action as appropriate.
