Job Summary:
The Area Sales Manager will drive revenue and profitability while meeting key performance targets. This involves exploring new markets, securing new customers regionally and nationally.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Actively manage existing regional and national customers to drive revenue growth.
2. Secure new business contracts to expand regional and national sales.
3. Develop and execute a 12-month Sales Strategy with clear KPIs.
4. Maintain an effective call plan and accurately log activities in CRM.
5. Stay updated on products, regulations, and new opportunities.
6. Educate customers on the expanding product range and generate leads.
7. Implement and maintain profitable pricing strategies with the Sales Director.
8. Adhere to pricing guidelines and revenue targets.
9. Collaborate with operations to achieve budgeted revenue and profit.
10. Build strong, professional relationships across the organization.
11. Meet administrative standards and seek efficiency improvements.
Requirements:
1. Proven success in winning major accounts from opportunity identification to negotiation and delivery.
2. Track record of driving new business revenue growth with clear examples.
3. Strong product knowledge with the ability to demonstrate when needed.
4. Highly motivated with strong commercial acumen.
5. Action-oriented with a results-driven mindset.
6. Excellent presentation, influencing, objection-handling, and communication skills.
7. Valid driving license.
8. Experience in Powered Access & Plant Hire Construction Services (desirable).
