Business Development Manager What is the role?
: Business Development Manager - Ireland - Foodservice, Wholesale, Retail Hybrid / Remote: Homebased role.
You can be based anywhere in the UK or Ireland.
What does the company do: An established global supplier of custom value-added food products to the world's leading foodservice and retail food brands.
Focusing on the island of Ireland, my client is looking for a Business Development Manager to identify, qualify and close out new business within the industry (wholesale, retail, foodservice) in Ireland.
You will generate new business opportunities as well as optimising existing client account opportunities.
You will manage your own personal sales pipeline to maximise all selling opportunities and will bring their own established client base to the group.
Responsibilities Identify partnership opportunities Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and help the company expand throughout Ireland.
Maintain existing business Think critically when planning to assure project successExperience: Proven experience in a similar position (3-4 years minimum) and be able to demonstrate track records of new business development within the food industry.
Entrepreneurial mindset who has the ability to recognise and take advantage of self-generated sales leads.
Excellent communication and presentational capabilities and the ability to identity a brief and manage those opportunities upwards to Senior Stakeholders.
