As an Automation Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for both the design and implementation of solutions using the bank's automation technology stack, including RPA (Robotic Process Automation) and workflow automation (IBM Business Automation Workflow).
This involves managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, from initial planning and requirements gathering to implementation, testing and deployment.
This service must meet business requirements while adhering to the bank's security standards and risk management criteria.
Your Team: The Operational Transformation team designs, delivers, and operates digital solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs and risks across the organisation.
You will be joining a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about building solutions using technology and modern methodologies.
Responsibilities: Development: Provide architectural control over solution designs to ensure consistency and continuity across the companys delivery teams.
Research new technologies, organise proof of concept (POC) and manage the relationship with supplier and service providers.
Manage the milestones and timeliness to deliver high quality solutions in accordance with the agreed software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Deliveries & Methodology: Work efficiently and quickly to turnaround business requirements and management requests.
Support the adoption and development of the Digital Transformation Framework to ensure that best-in-class methodologies, standards and practices are embedded in the organisation.
Develop clear strategies for the Automation Journey.
Stakeholder Management: Build relationships and work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to be well positioned, to identify opportunities for technical solutions and process improvement and to proactively identify sources of service dissatisfaction.
Act as internal evangelist for Automation and be responsible for getting stakeholder buy-in for the implementation of initiatives, requirement specification, solution design, risk assessment and business implementation.
Work closely with the relevant IT forums to ensure external stakeholders are aware of the status and development of the automation strategy and to ensure that the team is aligned to the overall group strategy.
Drive greater understanding of the roles and services provided by the capability through product demonstrations, operating model presentations and demand generation workshops.
Requirements: 4+ years?
experience working with RPA OR 5+ years of programming experience (.NET, Java etc.)
is required.
Previous team lead or manager experience.
Ability to define project scope, create realistic timelines, manage resources effectively, and track progress against milestones.
Proven experience in operational management, with a focus on process automation, workflow solutions, and server management.
Ability to align technical solutions with business objectives, ensuring automation solutions deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, cost savings, and risk reduction.
Blue prism Basic Foundation OR has completed any other training in one of the leading RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere).
Bachelor of Information Technology (IT) OR related field.
Excellent SQL skills ?
particularly with Microsoft SQL Server or Teradata.
This is a Permanentposition based in St Stephen's Green Dublin.
