As the Marketing Executive, you will support the development and implementation of marketing initiatives to support Calor's Accelerate28 Strategy.
Working with the Strategic Marketing Manager, you will support go-to-market activity, marketing calendar activity, and marketing communications aligned to Calor's Accelerate28 Strategy.
The role will require you to support communications, market research, branding, and advertising to generate marketing leads. You will work closely with the Strategic Marketing Manager to create focused campaigns, marketing communications, PR, and event plans.
This role requires a highly organized individual with a project management mindset who demonstrates initiative, can multitask, and adapt quickly to changing demands.
Functions of the Role/Main Responsibilities:
* Execution of the annual marketing plan aligning with Calor's Accelerate28 Strategy and objectives
* Recommend and support implementation of marketing activity with a focus on go-to-market planning, channel/communication briefings, and post-launch evaluation
* Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns using KPIs and analytics, providing regular reports to the marketing management team and making data-driven recommendations for improvement
* Support the development of customer value propositions tailored to meet customer needs, delivering on margin and supporting the acquisition and retention strategy
* Responsible for the delivery of in-life marketing customer communications plan, managing CRM marketing lists, and ensuring compliance with GDPR rules
* Present to key stakeholders and demonstrate strong customer and commercial insight
* Work with the Strategic Marketing Manager to generate insight that identifies key trends, issues, and opportunities in the market
* Manage a roadmap of events throughout the year to deliver brand awareness at key events
* Management and reporting of campaigns on Calor's CRM system
* Involvement in key transformation projects when required, including taking on the role of business owner to ensure successful delivery
Requirements
The Person Specification:
* Minimum 2 to 5 years' experience in a marketing role
* Education to a degree level or highly relevant compensating work experience in the energy industry
* An innovative and data-driven mindset
* Experience in marketing campaign management and customer relationship management
* Proven strong experience in marketing communications, event planning, PR, and sponsorship
* Knowledge and experience in digital marketing is not essential but beneficial
* Team player with a track record of working in a highly collaborative environment
* Hold a full clean driving license and must have the capacity and flexibility to travel throughout the country as required, including occasional travel to other business units within the SHV family
