Responsibilities:
1. GL balance sheet reconciliations preparation, overview, and communication to the business.
2. Journal processing ensuring requests have appropriate approval and suitable backup.
3. Lease administration and accounting.
4. Management of the intercompany process.
5. VAT return preparation and overall coordination.
6. Project and contract administration.
The Person
Qualifications:
1. Good working knowledge of ERP systems and intermediate level Excel skills.
2. Experience working in a finance accounting role.
3. Attention to detail to ensure accurate data entry and checking of all ledger entries.
4. Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels; target-driven and accustomed to managing strict SLAs.
5. Proactive approach to problems with the ability to spot potential errors and resolve them.
6. Ability to build good working relationships with external stakeholders.
7. Ability to work to strict deadlines and drive this behavior in others.
8. Decision-making skills regarding potential problems to refer to the Manager.
9. First-class written and oral communication skills.
Ideally, you would have worked in a General Ledger shared service or within the construction industry and have considerable experience in a diverse and multi-disciplinary accounts department.
