Job Description
A high level of organisation and administrative excellence is required for this role. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day security of the work area, including fire and physical hazards.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to deal appropriately with all communications and queries. They will also be responsible for managing the manager's correspondence, including emails and incoming post, and prioritising and routing as appropriate in a timely and efficient manner.
In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a robust system for responding to Public Questions and Representations (PQs and Reps) from Public Representatives, DOH etc., and ensure all appropriate information and circulars/memos are circulated to the relevant personnel.

Requirements:
* Satisfactory experience as a Clerical Officer in a government body.
* A pass (Grade D) in at least five subjects from the approved list of subjects in the Department of Education Leaving Certificate Examination, including Mathematics and English or Irish.
* A comparable and relevant third level qualification of at least level 6 on the National Qualifications Framework maintained by Qualifications and Quality Ireland (QQI).
