The Role
Clúid Housing is currently seeking applicants for the role of Chief Financial Officer.
The role of CFO is responsible for providing strategic, financial leadership and oversight of the financial functions within Clúid, ensuring that financial activity supports the organisation's objectives. The CFO will act as a strategic partner within Clúid, enabling the Corporate Plan while driving financial competence, confident decision making and continuous improvement. They will also have responsibility for the Chief Finance Office teams, which comprise of Finance Operations, Corporate Finance & Treasury, Procurement, Risk & Assurance.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and leading a team of four, the role requires a collaborative approach, with the ability to foster an inclusive workplace, develop teams and build and maintain relationships with Audit and Risk Committee and Board members.
The Person
The successful candidate will have clear evidence of experience in developing Finance Policy and Strategy, with demonstrated experience in a senior finance role. They will also have knowledge and understanding of process improvement and change management, as well as experience of leading during periods of transition and transformation. In addition, they will also have proven financial control and budget management experience.
The role will also require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to advise and present at Senior Executive and Board levels. They will also have evidence of being a strategic thinker, with experience of data analysis.
