The Role
As a successful sales engineer, you will focus on identifying and winning project specifications with M&E Consultants and managing the design, delivery, and installation of lighting projects with Main and M&E Contractors in your region.
You will sell a range of lighting products and controls that can be standalone or part of an integrated BMS system.
* Secure and manage projects within the Commercial and Public sectors
* Grow turnover in your region
The position requires:
* Demonstrated understanding of CPD presentations, tendering, and project management
* Strong relationship-building at all levels of the sales cycle

About the Candidate
We are looking for individuals with:
* 2 years or more working in field sales within the lighting or electrical sector
* Understanding of M&E consultants & Contractors
* Ability to manage a pipeline of projects and long sales cycle
* Consultative, driven, and professional salesperson with good attention to detail
* Understanding electrical or technical drawings/technical aptitude (desirable but not essential)
