Roles and Responsibilities
The Graduate Civil Design Co-ordinator will work within the design department assisting the team with various civil design co-ordination actions of various projects across the portfolio.
* Track design progress
* Assist the Civils design manager in day-to-day duties
* Record meeting minutes
* Conduct assessments
* Assist in surveys
* Use civils software to assist drafting, designing, visualisation and analysis
* Update various progress and tracking schedules to ensure alignment with overall design programmes
* Assist Design managers on various projects
* Co-ordinate and administer all required site surveys and condition assessments
Requirements
To be eligible, you must have:
* A minimum of Level 7/8 degree in Civil/Structural Engineering/ Construction Management/ Land Surveying discipline
* Experience in the field of Civil Engineering (3rd level work placement or similar) is desirable but not essential
* Self-motivated
* Knowledge of Auto CAD or similar software is desirable but not essential
* Excellent Communication Skills
* Strong Planning and Organisation Skills
* Excellent Reporting Skills
* Good problem-solving skills
* Ability to work on their own and as part of a team
* Ability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environment
