Finance Assistant – Dublin City Centre (hybrid)
The ideal candidate for this Finance Assistant role will have experience in the core accounting functions, such as accounts payable and receivable, billing, bank reconciliations, and other related tasks. This is an opportunity to support the overall finance and supply chain function, reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant.
Your Role:
* Manage sales and purchase ledger, including managing customer orders, invoicing shipments, posting supplier invoices, and executing weekly payment runs to suppliers.
* Post and maintain all banking transactions via online banking.
* Prepare and file VAT returns.
* Manage credit card and expense claims of employees.
* Assist with end-of-month/year processes.
* Purchase Order management – create purchase requisitions and issue final purchase orders to suppliers/tracking orders/liaising with suppliers and internal group customers.
* Support the supply chain function by coordinating shipments with both internal group companies and external partners.
* Complete ad hoc project work.
Your Skills:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role is required.
* Candidates must be able to work both as part of a team and independently.
* Ongoing communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills are essential.
* Excellent attention to detail and proficiency with MS Office applications are necessary.
