Pharmacy Retail Buyer
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualities:
* 3+ years of experience in retail and purchasing.
* Premium Brand cosmetic, sales or management experience is highly advantageous.
* Familiarity with FMCG, cosmetics, or pharmacy industry is a plus.
* Proficiency in EPOS systems, Microsoft Excel, and strong analytical skills are essential.
* Ability to comprehend and utilize financial data and KPIs is required.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the business.
* Capacity to generate innovative ideas and market them successfully.
* Energetic and enthusiastic attitude with no fear of hard work.
Main Responsibilities:
The Pharmacy Retail Buyer will be responsible for:
* Supporting store managers with day-to-day operations in pharmacies.
* Managing purchase orders and stock control for premium fragrance and cosmetic houses.
* Reviewing stock levels weekly to formulate orders for suppliers or arrange transfers between branches as necessary.
* Managing stockholdings, including overstock, out-of-stock and seasonal variations, with consideration given to minimising working capital investment and individual store needs.
* Maximising margin while maintaining competitiveness.
* Maintaining the EPOS stock file, including setting up products, suppliers, cost price, selling price, and margin (shared duty).
* Generating and issuing reports to management, including sales reports, margin reports, month-end reports, stock holding, and ad-hoc reports.
* Coordinating with suppliers to organise promotional activity, including in-store promotions and Customer Days.
* Sourcing and coordinating special offers and stock for monthly promotional activity.
* Coordinating relevant monthly promotional material and communication of in-store promotions to ensure continuity across the group (shared duty).
* Coordinating with our online Social Media activity and relevant website updates (shared duty).
