General Affairs (Facilities and Health & Safety) Manager

Role Overview
The General Affairs Manager will manage and provide all Facilities, Fleet and Health & Safety support for UK & Ireland Panasonic Offices.
The role holder must be someone who puts their customers first, is a good problem solver and with an open mind. They need to be a good communicator and someone who can support colleagues at all levels of our Company in relation to General Affairs. They should be open to carry out physical tasks and be comfortable in managing others. They must be open, supportive, willing to help others, flexible and a self-motivator.
How you will become part of the bigger picture…
You will manage:
* Facilities support for UK & Ireland locations (5).
* Health & Safety responsibility for UK and Ireland.
* Car fleet support for UK and Ireland Company cars.
* Line management of two direct reports within the team.
What you will bring to the picture...
Experience, Knowledge and skills:
* Knowledge of all facilities activities, project management, IT infrastructure, people management.
* Understanding of car leasing management, driver’s needs and day to day fleet support.
* Good knowledge of Health & Safety requirements to meet UK law, support colleagues with Health & Safety requirements whilst keeping Panasonic legally compliant in all areas of Health & Safety.

* Ability to work both alone and as part of a team.
* Ability to handle confidential data with discretion.
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
* Motivated self-starter with flexible, “can do” attitude.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to establish a rapport with people at various levels.
* Creative thinker able to approach tasks with “fresh eyes”.
Qualifications:
* A good standard of education.
* NEBOSH or equivalent H&S qualification.
* Good level of IT/AV knowledge and skills.
* Full and valid UK driving licence.

* An understanding of property leases, landlords’ and tenant’s responsibilities, and property market conditions.
* Project management knowledge and experience.
* Events management and support experience.

What we offer...
Salary range: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Annual Bonus
Annual Leave: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (rising to 27 days on completion of 3 years of service) (pro-rata for part-time)
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week full-time
Location: Bracknell (occasional travel will be required to UK & Ireland facilities)
