Stock Controller / Warehouse Operative
This is a key role in ensuring the efficient management of stock, supporting both internal manufacturing operations and external customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage stock control systems from goods inwards to storage and distribution to manufacturing lines.
* Oversee the release of stock to production and the return of unused materials.
* Ensure real-time stock accuracy, including quantities and storage locations.
* Conduct regular cycle counts to verify stock levels.
* Optimise storage space to improve warehouse efficiency.
* Act as the primary contact for contract manufacturing customers, managing stock levels of packaging and raw materials, separating obsolete stock, and supporting audits.
* Pick, pack, and dispatch materials to internal and external customers, ensuring quality standards are met, including product condition and expiry dates.
Requirements:
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
* Computer literacy (experience with SAP is an advantage).
* Energetic, proactive, and eager to learn.
* A valid forklift driving licence is an advantage.
