They are hiring across the board at all levels but are prioritising key hires like this Manager role.A really great place to work that offer excellent career progression and are looking for people who have the mindset of progressing to partner in the future.This role will be office based, there may be some flexibility once established for the right candidate but the preference is to be based in the office with the team.Your new roleYou will report into a technical partner and your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Management of the team to ensure compliance with all legislation and internal achievement of standards
2. Planning of assignments to ensure all deadlines are met
3. Reviewing the work of trainees to develop their skillsets and delivery of completed files for director review
4. Liaising with directors in appraisal of firms' objectives and delivery of client services
5. Audit file preparation
6. Monthly management accounts
7. Year end accounts and financial statement preparation, largely FRS102
8. Consulting projects as required, eg. due diligence for company sale or assisting clients with buying a property
9. Understanding clients' needs, assessing key risks to their business and developing value-add solutions while providing first class customer services
10. Maximising profitability on clients and building long standing relationships
11. Identify areas for improvement in company processes and systems
What you'll need to succeed
12. You must be a fully qualified accountant with 2 years' experience in practice in Ireland, ideally a small to medium practice
13. Experience with some manual processes would be ideal
14. Strong technical knowledge of FRS101/102
15. People management experience and a passion for developing junior staff would be preferred
