Hire Station is a family-run plant and tool hire business in Edenderry, Co. Offaly, serving customers across the Midlands, Leinster, and beyond. We are seeking a fully qualified Small Engine Mechanic to join our team and contribute to our growing business.
Job Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of small engines and power tools.
Work with leading brands, including Stihl, Oleo Mac, and Husqvarna.
Service Segway Navimow robotic lawnmowers (training provided if required).
Assist customers with technical queries and product recommendations.
Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls related to repairs and customer inquiries.
Work independently and manage workflow efficiently.
Assist on the shop floor as needed, providing advice on garden machinery and plant equipment.
Requirements
Fully qualified small engine mechanic with relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of garden machinery and plant equipment.
Experience working with Stihl, Oleo Mac, and Husqvarna machines is a distinct advantage.
Ability to work independently and use own initiative.
Comfortable interacting with customers in person and over the phone.
Experience with Segway Navimow robotic lawnmowers is desirable.
