About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Mechanical Engineer at our Athlone office. You will be working within a collaborative team environment, leading projects, and engaging with clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the design team in delivering projects across commercial, civic, cultural, educational, and healthcare sectors.
* Develop project scope with the design team and clients, including budgeting and reporting.
* Support team leads in resource management and planning to ensure successful project delivery.
* Provide detailed tender packages and monitor installation/quality on-site until project completion.
* Take an active role in project delivery from concept to completion.
* P present and communicate ideas effectively with clients, architects, and project managers.
* Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure cohesive project execution.
* Conduct site inspections and prepare detailed reports on project progress.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout project lifecycles.
* Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
* Minimum of 2 years' experience within an engineering practice.
* Proven experience in project delivery from concept stage to completion.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Dialux, Amtech; proficiency in REVIT is an advantage.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
