Ciallaíonn sé sin go bhfuilimid bródúil as an bhfreagracht a ghlacadh as ár soláthar uisce a chosaint agus córas sábháilte uisce a chur ar aghaidh chuig daonra atá ag fás go tapa agus fás sóisialta agus eacnamaíoch na hÉireann a chumasú.

Sa bhreis air sin, tá an fheidhm freagrach as próiseas an Choiste um Cheaduithe Caiteachais a chur i gcrích i gcomhar leis an bhFoireann Tráchtála agus spreagann an fheidhm próiseas athbhreithnithe éifeachtach maidir le conarthaí tráchtála in Uisce Éireann.
Bíonn ról lárnach ag an bhfoireann árachais maidir le tacú leis an CFO agus le réimsí eile den ghnó a bhaineann le haistriú riosca árachais agus coinneáil riosca.
Ní amháin go bhfuil an fhoireann freagrach as a chinntiú go mbíonn an cumhdach árachais is iomchuí i bhfeidhm ag UÉ, ach tá sí freagrach freisin as a chinntiú go ndéantar éilimh a bhaineann le hárachas a imscrúdú agus a bhainistiú ar bhealach atá costéifeachtach i gcomhréir le téarmaí agus le coinníollacha an pholasaí.
Tá an Fhoireann um Shocrúchán Árachais freagrach as cláir mhóra árachais Uisce Éireann a chur i bpríomh-mhargaí, maidir le sonraí riosca frithgheallta fiúntacha a fhorbairt chun tacú le socrúchán ár gclár, as príomhchaidrimh ghnó a bhainistiú agus as tacú leis an ngnó iomlán le gníomhaíochtaí a bhaineann le hárachas agus le dualgais eile mar a shanntar iad.
Agus é/í ag tuairisciú don Bhainisteoir um Shocrúchán Árachais, tá an Comhairleoir um Shocrúchán Árachais freagrach as tacú leis an mBainisteoir um Shocrúchán Árachais maidir le socrúcháin clár árachais a sholáthar, fiosrúcháin árachais ón ngnó a láimhseáil agus dualgais eile mar a shanntar.

The Role:
The Financial Governance and Compliance Function delivers all Insurances, Integrated Assurance activities and Continuous Controls Monitoring for Uisce Éireann. Additionally, the function is responsible for delivering the Expenditure Approvals Committee process in conjunction with the Commercial Team and drives an effective review process for commercial contracts in Uisce Éireann.
The insurance team plays a key role in supporting the CFO and other areas of the business related to insurance risk transfer and risk retention.
The team is not only responsible for ensuring that UE has the most appropriate insurance cover in place, but also for ensuring that insurance related claims are investigated and managed in a cost-effective manner in accordance with policy terms and conditions.
The Insurance Placement Team is responsible for placing Uisce Éireann’s large insurance programmes in key markets, in developing meaningful underwriting risk data to support the placement of our programmes, in managing key business relationships and in supporting the entire business with insurance related activities and other duties as assigned.
Reporting to the Insurance Placement Manager, the Insurance Placement Advisor is responsible for supporting the Insurance Placement Manager in the delivery of insurance programme placements, handling of insurance queries from the business and other duties as assigned.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Insurance Placement Manager to assist in the development and delivery of Insurance solutions to Uisce Éireann.
Act as an initial point of contact in the provision of day-to-day assistance to the business in respect of matters relating to insurance placement,
Review insurance queries from the business and escalate within the team as required.
Engage with the business in respect of insurance required by third party contractors, contracts, agreements, wayleaves etc., and review all documentation in preparation for sign off by the Insurance Placement Manager in accordance with internal procedures.
Liaise with Insurance Brokers and other relevant parties on insurance placement matters, and refer within the team in accordance with agreed governance protocols.
Gather relevant underwriting information, prepare a pre-renewal information document and organise the completion of proposal forms to assist the Insurance Placement Manager and team in respect of insurance placement and renewal process.
Manage the Motor Fleet relationship with the Business and External Parties.
Work closely with the Insurance Placement Manager in the renewal & procurement processes in accordance with procurement law.
Attend Risk/Site surveys and follow through on survey risk requirements as required.
Review Uisce Éireann’s insurance policy documents as escalate queries to the Insurance Placement Manager.
Maintain/update a database of insurance policy documentation, insurance summaries and key insurance information.
Processing insurance invoices for settlement to Brokers/Advisors.
Prepare periodic reports to Insurance Placement Manager.
Other duties as required from time to time
General Duties and Responsibilities
Collaboration with key internal stakeholders across the UÉ business
Responsible for promoting and delivering health and safety commitments across UÉ and its supply chain, reinforcing positive behaviours and delivering health and safety objectives and requirements to the highest industry standards.
Support the delivery of the Uisce Éireann Transformation Programme, driving results required within the Directorate and supporting organisation-wide objectives.
Other duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Relevant third level qualification and/or accreditation is desirable.
Professional insurance qualification or working towards is preferred.
A minimum of five years’ experience of Broking, In-House Insurance/Captive/Captive Management, Commercial Underwriting and/or similar role involving various classes of general insurance for larger programmes is preferred.
Contract savvy, with a knowledge of insurance contract wording is preferred
Experience and knowledge of a self-insured environment would be an advantage
Strong relationship management skills and proactive development
Change management and conflict resolution skills
Strong time management skills.
Experience in independently resolving customer challenges while maintaining high service standards.
Highly motivated individual, working to the highest professional standards and with proven ability to deliver results within a team.
