Job Description:
We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to assist with various accounting tasks at our headquarters in Cork.
Responsibilities:
* Analyse and process incoming invoices and employee expenses using Sage 50
* Prepare, process, and follow up on invoices for accounts receivable
* Manage incoming purchase orders
* Perform bank account reconciliations
* Respond to client, vendor, team member, and Director enquiries
* Maintain and ensure accuracy of multiple general ledgers
* Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliations accurately and efficiently
* Compile data as requested by Directors and perform ad hoc duties
Requirements:
* Accounts Technician or part-qualified Accountant qualification
* 2+ years of broad accounting experience
* Sage 50 experience is advantageous
* Advanced MS Excel skills
* Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
* Ability to organise, schedule, and execute tasks effectively
* Team player with strong organisational skills and client-focused service principles
