Job Description:
The Electrical Shift Technician is a permanent role located in Grangecastle, Dublin. This shift technician will be responsible for monitoring, operating and maintaining Utilities equipment in a cGMP environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitoring control systems for GMP and Non GMP alarms
* Escalation of alarms in accordance with relevant procedures and SOP's
* Investigating alarms as per relevant procedures
* Operating utilities equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures
* Maintaining high standards of plant uptime to support Contract KPI's
* Carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance
* Technical investigation
* Field rounds and readings of utilities equipment
* Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and safety
* Reviewing permits to work
* Lockout coordinator for Control of Hazardous Energy
* Collaboration with maintenance and calibration teams
* Execution of scheduled calibrations, corrective and preventative work
* Review of Utilities Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions
* Managing own training curricula and reviewing training performance
* Liaising with engineering and commissioning teams
* Raising reports as required, including safety, TIR and MIR
* Improving equipment and process knowledge
Requirements:
* Apprenticeship or 3rd Level qualification with electrical experience
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in electrical utilities or process maintenance
* Worked in a Shift Team or as part of a Maintenance Team
* Knowledge of Utilities Systems
* Worked in a Pharmaceutical, Brewery, Dairy and Food Industry
* Worked in a regulated Industry (FDA, IMB, NSAI)
* Good working knowledge of preventative maintenance programs for a wide range of plant equipment
* Understanding of Basic Instrumentation
