Role Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented AV/VC Specialist to join our team in Galway. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Audio-Visual (AV) and Video Conferencing (VC) systems and will thrive in a fast-paced environment where strong time management and interpersonal skills are key. This is an on-site, intermediate-level role, suited to someone capable of managing AV/VC operations independently while collaborating effectively with global teams and vendors. Key Responsibilities AV/VC System Support: Manage the setup, operation, and maintenance of AV/VC equipment to ensure seamless functionality for meetings, events, and day-to-day operations. Vendor Management: Liaise with vendors and service providers to coordinate installations, repairs, and updates. User Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for AV/VC issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Time Management: Prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects efficiently, meeting deadlines with minimal supervision. Collaboration: Work closely with global teams and internal stakeholders to align AV/VC services with business needs. Documentation: Maintain records of equipment, processes, and technical issues to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance. Required Experience and Skills Proven experience working with AV/VC equipment and systems (e.g., video conferencing platforms, audio systems, projectors). Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to handle competing priorities. Familiarity with vendor management and procurement processes. Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of popular AV/VC platforms and solutions (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex). Basic technical troubleshooting skills for hardware and software issues. Experience in a corporate or similar fast-paced environment.
