The Role: As Supply Chain Manager, you are a key business leader within the company, responsible for all aspects of the company Supply Chain. You will lead the development and execution of the company's end-to-end supply chain strategy, ensuring seamless logistics and operational efficiency in a global organisation. This role blends strategic planning with hands-on management, and you will be key in driving performance improvements across procurement, logistics, and vendor management. You will form part of the Operations Leadership Team, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet the company's business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Supply Chain Management Manage and lead Purchasing, Commodity Management and Supplier Quality Engineering. Key responsibilities include: Development of the strategic vision and tactical execution of the Lisk global supply chain. Management of the Procure-to-Pay system and processes inclusive of financial and business audits Own and drive continuous improvement for all Purchasing Policies, Procedures, and Compliance. Oversee P2P performance against key metrics (Supplier Quality, OTD, Contract Coverage, Purchase price variance, and inventory) Coordinate all commodity management activities to make sure the purchasing operations continue to have full alignment with commodity management policies and procedures. Develop commodity management strategies for all commodities. Develop a mature supplier base to support the key objectives of the business. Support engineering new product development via Supplier Selection, Supplier communications & collaborations, contract negotiations and prototyping. Oversee the Supplier Quality Management function to ensure supplier compliance on programs Manage international logistics and shipping, ensuring compliance with global trade regulations and customs requirements. Forecast demand and create detailed supply plans that meet customer requirements while minimising costs and managing inventory levels efficiently. Oversee the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process and related planning activities to balance supply with demand. Foster a global procurement mind-set leveraging the footprint of GW Lisk in securing best possible outcomes in quality, delivery and cost. Vendor Management & Procurement Manage supplier relationships, negotiating contracts to ensure the best terms for cost, quality, and delivery. Source new vendors while benchmarking prices from current suppliers to maintain competitive advantages. Oversee procurement, including sourcing, purchasing, and managing inventory levels. Lead the management of 3rd-party contract manufacturers, ensuring they meet performance standards and contractual obligations. Logistics & Distribution Develop and manage a global logistics and distribution network to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of goods across multiple territories. Optimise transportation and warehouse operations to improve service levels and reduce overall supply chain costs. Implement consumable supply solutions for key markets, ensuring scalability and efficiency. Ensure full compliance with international trade laws, including customs regulations, export/import compliance, and trade agreements. Performance & Continuous Improvement Track, and further identify, key performance metrics and report on supply chain performance, driving continuous improvement initiatives. Harvest data available from systems providing accurate data analytics, leverage the data-driven insights to refine supply chain processes, reduce lead times, and minimise operational costs. Collaboration & Agility Work closely with other departments such as production, sales, and finance to align supply chain strategies with overall business goals. Demonstrate flexibility in responding to rapidly changing business priorities, supporting cross-functional projects, and adapting strategies as needed. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered. Experience: 7+ years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity. Proven track record in managing and optimizing end-to-end supply chain operations. Strong experience in negotiating commercial contracts and managing 3rd-party contract manufacturers. Extensive knowledge of international trade compliance and logistics management. Experience in an organisation that operates with Value Streams desired.
