Job Title: Quality Inspector
A precision machine parts manufacturer based in Dundalk is seeking a Quality Inspector for a 6-month fixed term contract.

About the Role:
1. Carry out precision measurements using various metrology equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
2. Perform inspections on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet specified tolerances and quality standards.
3. Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine inspection criteria.
4. Record and analyze measurement data, identifying trends and deviations from specifications.
5. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
6. Maintain and calibrate metrology equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
7. Document inspection results and prepare detailed reports.
8. Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and standards.
Requirements:
* Ideal experience working as a quality inspector in a previous role.
* Previous experience in precision engineering or metal fabrication is preferred, but candidates from other sectors with a strong background will be considered.
* Toolmakers, CNC setters, or CNC operators looking to transition to quality are encouraged to apply.
Package:
Salary: €35k - €38k (pro rata)
