Job Title: Finance Executive

Job Purpose:
The Finance Executive will oversee daily financial operations and accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with experience in financial administration and a strong understanding of accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
* Process and manage incoming and outgoing invoices.
* Reconcile accounts and ensure timely payments to suppliers.
* Prepare and monitor customer invoices, ensuring accuracy.
Financial Reporting:
* Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
* Support the finance team in preparing budgets and forecasts.
* Assist with the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring the accuracy of all financial data.
Bank & Cash Management:
* Reconcile bank accounts and process cash transactions.
* Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and expenditures.
Payroll:
* Manage and process employee payroll, and maintain accurate employee records.
Tax & Compliance:
* Assist with VAT returns and other statutory filings.
* Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
Inventory & Costing:
* Support the monitoring of inventory levels and cost analysis related to manufacturing operations.
* Assist with stock takes and reconciliations.
General Administration:
* Maintain and update financial records and databases.
* Provide support for audits and assist in gathering necessary documents.
* Respond to financial queries from internal departments.
* Perform ad-hoc administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education & Experience:
* 1-2 years’ experience in a finance or accounting role, ideally in a manufacturing or production environment.
* Minimum Accounting Technician qualification or equivalent.
Technical Skills:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level) and accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, or similar).
* Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax requirements.
Personal Attributes:
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Effective communication skills, with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
Desirable:
* Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
* Knowledge of costing and inventory management.
