Patten Ráighne Eye Care t/a Athenry Opticians is Seeking Customer-Service Obsessed, Optical Assistant.
We are looking to fill the position of an optical and clinical assistant, to assist the optometrist with dry eye treatments such as IPL and low level light therapy, hence a background in aesthetics or the beauty and make up industry would be extremely beneficial, although full optical and clinical training will be given.

Who will I be working with?
Athenry Opticians is a successful well established optometry practice in Athenry. Because of our growth we are currently looking to add an ambitious, like-minded, client-focused optical & clinical assistants to our current superstar team. * You are passionate about eyewear and style and clinical care.
* You are comfortable with performing treatments such as facials etc.
* You like to make personal connections with clients, whether that’s on the phone, in reception or in a dispensing consultation.
* You get a buzz from being on the shop floor, seeing browsers, selling, getting involved in the day to day tasks that happen in a boutique business to create an exceptional experience for customers.
* Your skills are far above the average optical assistant when it comes to communication, understanding customer perceptions, building personal relationships, delivering an experience, and being able to step in at any stage of the customer journey and handle any situation with finesse.
* You’re a team player – getting involved setting the practice up each morning, greeting clients as they arrive, quality control and checking in client’s, assisting clients in choosing new eyewear. You’ll do whatever it takes to deliver an exceptional experience to a client.

* A background as a beauty therapist experienced in IPL, etc would be beneficial.

Starting Salary
€13.50-€16.50 per hour depending on experience plus generous performance based monthly bonus up to £3500+ p.a.
Hours
35 hours (5 days) per week, 10.00 a.m. – 6.00 p.m. Monday to Saturday. One Saturday off per month. Saturday 10.00am-4.00pm
