We are recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Site Supervisor to join us on various projects across the Greater Dublin area.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Utilize our Construction Software Package, Procore, to study and analyze blueprints and floor plans to understand all aspects of the mechanical design layout.
* Highlight any issues at pre-start meetings held with Senior Project Managers.
* Oversee the installation of pipes and fixtures, such as sinks and toilets, for water, gas, steam, air, or other liquids.
* Lead site operatives and apprentice teams, supported by the Operations Manager.
* Liaise with contractors, managers, and other stakeholders to ensure coordination among all parties.
* Educate site operatives on construction safety and accident protocols.
* Inspect sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards.
* Handle site accidents in accordance with accident protocol.
* Maintain detailed records of construction site activities.
* Interact with staff and sub-contractors to ensure quality workmanship meets MGME Quality Assurance Standards.
* Raise notifications to the main contractor for on-site issues and holdups.
* Familiarize yourself with material ordering and delivery logistics, working with the procurement team.
* Oversee testing and commissioning at the request of the SPM, QA, and commissioning team.
* Capture RFI's, damage, theft, and out-of-scope work through Procore.
* Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of yourself, staff, and visitors.
* Maintain adherence to company standards and policies at all times.
* Perform any other duties as requested or required by the Manager or Senior Management Team.
Person Specification
* The ideal candidate should be a Time-Served Plumber.
* Hold experience working in a similar Site Supervisory position.
* Be a strong communicator, both written and orally.
* Work under pressure to deliver and meet project deadlines.
* Possess a good working knowledge of Microsoft Applications.
* Hold a full, clean driving license.
* Be open and flexible to travel across various MGME project sites.
* Hold valid safety documents.
