Our client, a Global FMCG Leader, is currently in search for an ambitious Regional Account Executive to join their talented National Accounts team on a 12-month fixed term basis, based in Dublin/ Belfast.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Regional Account Executive will build and maintain relationships with highly established Foodservice customers, mainly across Northern Ireland.
Only candidates with 2+ years’ experience within national account management, account management or have managed a national account in FMCG/ Food & Drinks/ Foodservice industry will be considered for this opportunity.
The successful applicant will be passionate about Foodservice and will thrive in the dynamic and exciting space that is Foodservice across Ireland/ Northern Ireland.
Your Role
* Manage and source chain customers by creating and delivering relevant commercial & service propositions.
* Build strong and sustainable customer relationships.
* Work closely with all internal stakeholders.
* Manage in-month performance vs forecast.
* Manage accruals and pricing accurately and efficiently.
* Ensure customer is compliant with agreed trade terms.
* P&L Management: Delivery of Turnover & Business Building Terms targets for specific category.
* Delivery of required admin for the customer – pricing, rebates, promo proposals, trade terms, contracts etc.
* Develop and deliver joint business plans with nominated trade partners.
* Attend key industry events.
Your Skills
* Essential requirement to have 2+ years’ experience within national account management, account management or have managed a national account in FMCG/ Food & Drinks/ Foodservice industry.
* Food service experience as an exceptional sales representative could be considered.
* Passionate, positive and enthusiastic approach.
* Exceptional commercial acumen.
* Demonstrable customer focused attitude.
* Ability to work independently, proactively and as a team member.
* Self-starter who can use their own initiative.
The Package
A competitive remuneration package will be offered to the successful applicant that reflects the seniority and importance of this role. This will include a company car, as travel to meet customers in Northern Ireland will be required (occasional overnights required).
