Sourcing at Primark

Purpose of the Role
General coordination and support for the central sourcing team in achieving our goals. Rationalisation, COO mix and supplier performance.
Duties and Responsibilities
What You’ll Do:
1. Support the pillars of the Sourcing Strategy. Rationalisation, Supplier Performance & COO mix.
2. Support the sourcing team to attract, develop and integrate new suppliers and production units for new and existing product categories for Primark.
3. Arrange and coordinate new supplier inductions to Primark.
4. Work with our regional sourcing offices to develop and integrate new factories with existing suppliers to support Primark capacity growth.
5. Organise and schedule supplier meetings, workshops and conferences as required.
6. Support on strategic supplier exits in line with industry standards.
7. Engage with multiple stakeholders to ensure issues and queries are resolved efficiently.
8. Provide ad hoc support for any supplier related queries that may arise and impact buying, ethical, supply chain, customs and finance teams.
9. Attend individual supplier meetings in ARH/Reading House as required.
10. Build & maintain relationships with the Buying, Sourcing Teams and Suppliers.
