The Role
">
Payroll / Accounting Technician: A key position within our accounting team of five members, working closely with the Financial Controller to ensure seamless operations across various areas, with primary responsibility for payroll and accounts payable management.

Responsibilities:

* Gather and review timesheets to facilitate accurate payroll processing.
">
">
* Conduct monthly commission calculations and enter approved annual and sick leave, along with specific adjustments related to overtime, bonuses, or other exceptional payments, onto our payroll software.
">
">
* Resolve discrepancies in payments promptly.
">
">
* Provide critical cash flow information to inform business decisions.
">
">
* Support the Financial Controller in month-end accounting and reporting, including balance sheet reconciliations.
">
">
* Assist with other duties and projects as required.
">
">
* Manage accounts payable tasks, including receiving, coding, and obtaining payment approval.
">
">
* Perform three-way matching and respond to vendor queries and issues.
">
">
* Execute monthly vendor reconciliations and provide essential cash flow information.
">
">
">
Qualifications and Experience:
">
">
* Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll processing.
">
">
* Strong understanding of book-keeping and accounts principles.
">
">
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
">
">
* Proficiency in written and verbal English communication.
">
">
* Accounting Technician qualification is highly desirable.
