We are in the middle of an exciting journey of growth and expansion both with our facilities and our teams. We are seeking a motivated and reliable person to join our Goods Inwards team. Responsibilities (To Include):
* Rotating schedules between Intake Goods In and Packaging Store Goods In (upon completion of relevant Training)
* Accountability for the checks on stock received: its integrity, quantity match to order, date of receipt, temperature (if applicable)
* Receipt of all stock into the system and completion of appropriate traceability documents
* Responsible for appropriate storage of stock and its date rotation (where applicable), operating a FIFO approach as standard, unless an exception is clearly stated by the Stock Controller/Manager
* Responsible for the timely reporting and investigating of discrepancies, non-conformities, stock date issues and health and safety concerns.
* Ensure Clean as you go adherence throughout all storage areas, maintaining acceptable housekeeping standards at all times, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
* Ensure that Health & Safety best practices are followed at all times when loading/unloading stock into/from vehicles, storage racks, shelves or any other location within AMF
* Responsible for Waste Management duties ensuring proper waste segregation and its safe removal from different areas of the factory. Will operate the equipment relating to our Waste disposal/storage like compactors, balers according to training instructions
* Responsible for conducting full stocktakes, weekly stock takes, spot checks as required. Areas usually covered are (but not limited to): seasoning, PPE, Chemicals, packaging, frozen ingredients.
* Ensure PAR levels are met across all products in storage and proactively advise Stock Controller/Manager if stock is below PAR
* Washdown of storage areas as per Technical SOP requirements for the different locations
* Blending room duties for the blending of ingredients according to Technical SOPs when required
* Ensure that the fulfilment of requisitions from other departments/areas is conducted in a timely manner, taking business needs into account when prioritization is required
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience in a similar role
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
* Current forklift license is essential.
* Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
* Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word and Excel).
* The successful candidate will be able to complete all physical requirements with or without a reasonable accommodation frequently moving up to 25kgs around a chilled and ambient production facility.
* Conscientious attitude with excellent attention to detail.
* Core hours Mon- Fri 07.00-16.00
* Must be flexible with working hours / shifts in order to accommodate plant operation which may involve some weekend work.
